Your task is to research Impressionism and Impressionist artists, such as Monet, Degas, Renoir, Manet and more.
You need to incorporate all resources available, including books, movies and Internet.
You will choose two favorite artists and select two paintings of each artist.
You will analyze two artists’ styles and techniques, and compare and contrast their art works.
Remember, many Impressionist artists tried to capture the essence of changing light from the scene and achieved the effect by using short and quick brushstrokes.
You and your group members will create a presentation to display all your knowledge from your research.
Your presentation also needs to reflect group effort and achievement.
It's an option for each group member to choose one painting and then synthesize your research together.
